Both Susana and I had nice lazy mornings sleeping in just a little bit, not too much though. Due to the difficulty in checking in (none of the keys they gave us seemed to work, many attempts at making digital keys were attempted) we were given coupons for a free breakfast at the Buffet. Much to the chagrin of our waitress I must say. At every turn she was questioning if indeed we deserved the amenity grated us.
But in the end I think our smiles won her over.
We were able to make our own blueberry Belgian waffles

and we had a HUGE buffet of food to choose. From. Our appetites were surely satisfied! Thant the Lord for providing another money saving option.

After a glorious breakfast we were off to Fort Worth Texas to see the infamous cattle drive at the Stockyards.
In case you were wondering what you just watched... I am sure this will explain it all.

This was one of the most interesting sights I think we saw... Kids don't try this at home.

and of course a cattle drive isn't complete unless you are enjoying a cup of shaved ice (coconut-mango, eat your heart out Mom!)

As many of you are now guessing... yeah we were hungry but... for TexMex we thought this was just a little bit odd

So we simply passed and tried to take as many cowboy-cowgirl pictures as possible. Hey, never know when we will have another chance to take advantage of the authentic background with our Roper's on

After lots of silly pictures it was back to Dallas for the wedding rehearsal.

I spent some time, but realized my time would be better spent preparing for teaching. We split up for the night. Susana spent her time with the girls of the bridal party and I prepared for teaching.
